Royal Porcelain | The Palace Collection

Boodles’ Royal Porcelain suite reflects the vibrant blue-on-blue palette of the porcelain through the use of semi-translucent blue enamel, alongside pear-shaped and brilliant-cut white diamonds and sapphires. The styling of the leaves within the suite mimics the motifs visible in the porcelain’s artwork,  while the enamel reflects the delicate lines seen within the painted decoration.

Royal Porcelain

Mary II loved blue and white porcelain, as did her sister, Queen Anne: at one point in Kensington Palace, 787 pieces were on display. Inspired by their colours and patterns, we’ve combined oval sapphires with semi-translucent enamel, alongside pear shaped and brilliant cut diamonds, sculpted to form leaves and scrolls.
