Using our website
For UK deliveries we will endeavour to get all orders placed on or before the 22nd of December to you in time for Christmas (by post, courier, carrier pigeon or sleigh!). Please note that we do not use Royal Mail for deliveries. For international orders please allow for extra time and place your order by 19th of December. For any orders placed after this date, please contact email@example.com and we can confirm if your order can be with you in time for Christmas.

Please be aware that all deliveries need to be signed for, and photographic identification is required. If you are not present at the time of delivery, our courier company will leave a calling card and you will be able to reschedule your delivery for a more convenient time.
Alternative Delivery Address
You might prefer us to deliver to your place of work or to a relative’s home. This is no problem, but we may contact you in advance for extra security to ensure your package arrives safely.
For deliveries within the UK, we aim to arrive 24 hours* after dispatch during the working week. Please allow extra time on weekends, Bank Holidays and during our busy Christmas and Easter periods.

Placing an order
Customer protection is important to us, therefore orders may be subject to security checks. This may cause a slight delay in the processing of some orders. We may need to contact you to carry out security checks - if we are unable to reach you using the contact details provided it will delay the dispatch of your order.

All prices on our website and our brochures are displayed in pounds sterling (£) and include value added tax (VAT) at the current applicable rate. Please note that your payment card will also be debited in pounds sterling.
Should you enter a valid delivery address outside the European Union, we will display the item price excluding VAT and this price will be finalised before the transaction.
As soon as we have confirmation that your piece of jewellery has been collected we will get in touch with you to advise an estimated delivery date. Please note that any delivery times given can only be approximate and will depend on availability of courier services and customs clearance at the point of import.
Our items are sold on the basis that we do not pay any import taxes or duties payable on any Products. Recipients outside the UK who may have to pay import duty or other taxes will be separately liable for these duties and taxes. Boodles cannot be held responsible for any such charges. Please familiarise yourself with any local charges applicable to you before placing your order.

Please call us on +44(0)20 7647 1360, stating the reason for your return, and pack your parcel securely in the original Boodles box. We cannot be held responsible for non-delivery of returned goods.
For security reasons, we do not store customer credit/debit card details at Boodles. Therefore, on receipt of your returns form, we will contact you by phone and ask for your card details in order to arrange the refund via the original payment method. It may take 5 to 7 working days before your transaction appears on your statement – this depends on the speed at which your card issuer processes this.

At Boodles, we offer a free cleaning service for all our jewellery. Simply call into any of our stores and we will arrange this for you.
You will receive a valuation for insurance when you first buy your item, and we advise you to have this updated by us once every two years in order to reflect changes in precious metal and gemstone prices. This is a complimentary service and so during busy periods we kindly request your patience with this.
Secure online shopping
We want to make sure that our website is as safe as possible for you to use. We take security seriously and use industry standard technologies such as Secure Socket Layer (SSL) to protect sensitive information passed between you and the website. The use of SSL ensures your name and address are encrypted when submitting an online order form. You will notice the company logo shown on the address bar of your browser and by clicking on this, a window will be shown that verifies the website credentials and the 128-bit encryption that is in use.
Although no credit card details are stored on the website servers they are nonetheless hosted in a secure environment that is compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).
Credit card transactions are dealt with by Barclaycard ePDQ hosted by Barclaycard directly themselves so no credit card details pass through the website.
The website servers are located in the UK and all information captured during the purchase process are stored within the UK and processed by Boodles staff in the UK.
Once you have reached our payment section you will be re-routed to Barclays’ secure payment page, which uses Triple A Secure or Verified by Visa – an authentication process that works a little like the chip and pin on your card. If you have previously used this facility, it will ask you for a password to complete your purchase. If this is your first time, please complete a quick and simple registration process before finalising your order.
Your privacy is of utmost importance to us. We do not keep a record of your payment details. We, and our dedicated partners, will only use your personal details to provide you with the service you deserve. For security reasons, we may have to pass your contact telephone number and/or email address on to our courier service – this is purely so our agent can contact you for a speedy delivery and, if appropriate, customs clearance.

Working out your size
You may already know your ring size, based on a ring you own that is a comfortable fit. If not, you can download one of our ring sizers here. Another fail-safe way to work out your size is to bring a ring that is worn on the same finger as the one you want to buy into a Boodles boutique and we will measure it for you. Alternatively, visit a local jeweller and ask if they might be kind enough to size your finger.
Fingers tend to be larger at the end of the day, so please bear this in mind when you are trying on rings. Do not try on a ring if your hands are cold because your fingers may be up to half a size smaller. A ring should fit snugly on your finger but still be loose enough to remove without too much tugging.
Buying a ring for someone else
Don’t let getting the wrong size put you off surprising someone. If you are unsure of the correct size we are happy to guide you through selecting an initial size, which can then be altered if necessary at a later date. This is, of course, with our compliments. In some cases the item may need to be re-made, which can take several weeks but we would be happy to advise you of the best options prior to purchase. We are also able to send you a complimentary ring sizer for reference.
International ring sizes

Classic-length necklaces - 46 cm (18-inch) - are our most popular style. They fall just below the neck and slightly lower if a pendant is attached.
Our longer opera-length necklaces are a versatile alternative. They tend to be between 99 cm and 109 cm (39 inches and 43 inches) and are designed to fall just below the bust.
If you would prefer a different length chain, we are happy to provide one upon request. This may incur an additional charge in some cases.
Our bracelets measure an average 18 cm (7-inches). We are able to shorten most bracelets for the perfect fit, but lengthening can be more difficult. Lengthening bracelets depends on the construction of the links, and may require us to make a new bracelet. Please contact us to find out more about our free alteration service.
