Royal Damask Pendant
Pendant set with octagonal and cushion shaped indicolite tourmalines, with multi coloured sapphires and brilliant cut diamonds
Having fabric-covered walls was very fashionable and expensive during the 18th century, particularly in exotic colours such as blue and red. Damask, a luxurious woven fabric, became a popular choice for queens during the Renaissance, prized for its sheen and elaborate motifs. This suite is inspired by the wallpaper and damask typical of Queen Mary’s reign, featuring rich colours and unique gemstones, hand-picked to match the vibrant hues of the fabric. The result is a suite fit for a queen.
