The Giraffe

A group of giraffes is called a “tower” – how very apt. This suite is a monument to honour them, comprising a ring, bracelet and spellbinding pendant that’s sure to have everyone craning for a closer peek. Did you know giraffes have the same number of neck vertebrae as we do? Just imagine how many coloured diamonds a giraffe’s necklace would need...

The Giraffe Pendant

An imperial topaz of over 13 carats is surrounded by 128 multi-coloured diamonds and 12 white diamonds, set in a yellow gold pendant and forming shapes inspired by the giraffe's pattern

“This particular suite looks at the individual patterning that giraffes have and their patches, which are as unique as a fingerprint.”

Rebecca Hawkins, Boodles Director of Design

The Giraffe Bracelet

A yellow gold bracelet, echoing the gentle pattern of a giraffe’s coat, is set with a playful array of multi-coloured brilliant cut diamonds.

The Giraffe Ring

Around Africa in 10 Days

In October 2024, Boodles President Nicholas Wainwright and his niece Honour set off on an unforgettable adventure within Africa, a journey that would go on to inspire our latest High Jewellery collection. From boarding the Blue Train in South Africa to soaring over the Maasai Mara in a hot air balloon, they travelled in search of extraordinary gemstones, design inspiration and a little Boodles magic. Along the way, they met craftspeople, visited communities that are supported by our charity partner Just a Drop, and immersed themselves in the colours, culture and wildlife of this remarkable continent. Join us as we retrace their footsteps and discover the stories behind the jewels.

Behind The Design
