Purpose of Role
The International Shipping & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the secure, efficient and compliant movement of goods across the business, with particular responsibility for international shipping.
Managing shipments for customers, e-commerce orders and international events, the role acts as a central point of expertise for customs, import/export requirements and shipping documentation.
Based within the E-commerce team, the role works closely with Events, Production, the London Stock Manager, Sales and other teams across the business to ensure shipping requirements are well coordinated and deadlines are met.
Principal duties and responsibilities
Shipping & Logistics Coordination
- Manage the end-to-end process for domestic and international shipments, ensuring goods are dispatched securely, accurately and on time.
- Act as the primary point of contact for international shipping queries across the London business.
- Coordinate with courier partners, monitor shipments and proactively resolve delays or issues.
- Ensure appropriate processes are followed for the secure movement of high-value goods, escalating risks where necessary.
- Work closely with the London Stock Manager where stock movements require courier, shipping or international logistics support.
Customs, Compliance & Documentation
- Prepare and review shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, customs declarations and supporting paperwork.
- Provide guidance on customs procedures, import duties and international shipping requirements.
- Manage carnets and temporary export documentation where required.
- Ensure shipments comply with relevant legal, regulatory and courier requirements, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes that may impact the business.
International Events & Overseas Shipping
- Coordinate shipping and return arrangements for international events and other overseas business activity, including across Europe, the USA, the Middle East and other locations.
- Work closely with the Events team to understand requirements and deadlines, coordinating with couriers, customs agents and other partners to ensure goods arrive securely and on time.
- Manage the customs, carnet, temporary export and regulatory requirements associated with overseas events.
- Ensure return shipments are appropriately documented, tracked and returned to the relevant location.
Customer & Stakeholder Communication
- Support customers with international deliveries, clearly communicating requirements, documentation and timescales.
- Build effective working relationships across E-commerce, Events, Production, Sales, the London Stock Manager and other relevant teams.
- Maintain a professional, clear and solutions-focused approach to customer and stakeholder communication.
E-commerce & Operational Support
- Support the E-commerce team with order processing, fulfillment coordination and general administration.
- Ensure orders, shipments, costs and documentation are accurately recorded and tracked.
- Identify opportunities to improve shipping and fulfillment processes, reduce delays and strengthen operational efficiency.

Essential requirements
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics or e-commerce fulfilment, including international shipping.
- Strong working knowledge of international shipping, including legal and regulatory requirements, customs, import/export procedures and associated documentation.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments and competing deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and order management systems.
Desirable
- Experience working with global courier companies (e.g. DHL, FedEx, UPS or similar).
- Experience supporting international events or temporary overseas movements of goods, including knowledge of carnet processes.
- Experience within a retail, e-commerce or luxury environment.
- Familiarity with shipping platforms or warehouse management systems.
