Priced at £120 for a box of six, every penny goes to Just a Drop, the charity partner this year, helping to provide clean water and sanitation to communities in need. Terms & Conditions — Charity Christmas Crackers
1. Promoter / Organiser
1.1. The promoter of this scheme is BOODLE & DUNTHORNE LIMITED, Company number 00472968 (the “Promoter”).
1.2. The Promoter’s registered address is 178 New Bond Street, London, W1S 4RH
2. Eligibility
2.1. Participation is open to applicants aged 18 or over.
2.2. Employees of the Promoter, their families or anyone involved in the production or distribution of the crackers are not eligible to receive a prize.
2.3. The Promoter may request proof of age or identity before awarding a prize
3. Purchase and Participation
3.1. Participation occurs through the purchase of a box of six charity Christmas crackers at £120 per box.
3.2. There is no limit on the number of boxes that may be purchased unless otherwise stated.
3.3. By purchasing the crackers, participants agree to these Terms and Conditions.
4. Prize Structure
4.1. Some crackers contain a prize slip. At least two out of six crackers in each box include a prize slip.
4.2. Prize slips indicate that the holder is entitled to a specific prize.
4.3. Possible prizes may include items such as a scented candle, afternoon tea, a bottle of champagne or a special “sparkling surprise”.
4.4. Prizes are subject to availability. The Promoter may substitute a prize with another of equal or greater value if necessary.
5. Claiming Prizes
5.1. A prize slip must be presented in order to claim a prize.
5.2. Prizes must be collected in person from the Boodles showroom where the crackers were originally purchased, unless the prize slip states otherwise.
5.3. The claimant may be required to show proof of purchase and the original prize slip.
5.4. All prizes must be claimed within 12 months from the date of purchase. Any prize not claimed within this period will be forfeited.
5.5. The Promoter is not responsible for lost, damaged or misplaced prize slips.
6. Publicity and Data Protection
6.1. By claiming a prize, winners give consent for their name (or initials) and/or photograph to be used for promotional purposes unless they request not to be included.
6.2. Personal data will be used only for administering the prize claim process and will be handled in accordance with data protection legislation.
6.3. Personal data will not be shared with third parties except when necessary for awarding the prize.
7. Liability
7.1. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any loss, injury or damage resulting from participation or prize acceptance except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
7.2. The Promoter is not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside its reasonable control.
8. General Conditions
8.1. The Promoter may amend or cancel the scheme if necessary due to circumstances beyond its control.
8.2. Decisions of the Promoter regarding all aspects of the scheme are final.
8.3. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
9. Acceptance
9.1. By purchasing a box of charity crackers, participants confirm acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
