Greenfire

After almost a year in the making we were delighted to share the world of Boodles with viewers across the UK and Ireland, as our documentary The Million Pound Necklace: Inside Boodles aired on Channel 4. It was with anticipation that we remained glued to our screens as a subject that seems so familiar to us became that of fascination to others. Twitter began chirping with comments and intrigue as our company was unveiled and laid bare for all to see. The documentary followed the creation of our Emerald 'Greenfire' necklace, from loose stones, to design, creation and launch; shadowing our Directors and Boodles staff each step of the way, with a cocktail party in Monaco, a Diamond buying trip to New York and a few celebrity interviews thrown in.

The Million Pound Necklace

The Greenfire Necklace - centred on seven cushion-cut emeralds totalling 46.20 carats, encircled by 17.38 carats of round brilliant-cut diamonds and set in platinum - formed the focal point of the four-piece Greenfire high jewellery collection. Created using exceptional, untreated Colombian emeralds from the Muzo mines, the suite is defined by stones of remarkable depth and intensity, and a sense of mystical enchantment.

On The Big Screen

In 2021, The Greenfire Necklace made a striking appearance on the big screens, worn by Dame Helen Mirren in her role as the criminal matriarch, Queenie, in the action film, Fast & Furious 9.
