NICHOLAS WAINWRIGHT - MANAGING AND CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Nicholas Wainwright, regarded as Britain's leading jewellery gem specialist, is responsible for the creative direction of all Boodles designs. He is a fellow of the Gemmological Association with over 35 years experience of sourcing, choosing and mounting the world's finest precious stones. His opinions on gems are frequently sought throughout the jewellery trade and he is well known for his total dedication to quality. His team within Boodles are viewing over 100,000 gemstones every year from around the world and only a fraction live up to the criteria that Nicholas demands. His interests include golf, shooting, charity fundraising and spending as much time as possible with his family.
MICHAEL WAINWRIGHT - MANAGING DIRECTOR
Michael Wainwright is responsible for the Boodles brand. He oversees the commercial aspects of the business and the continual investment into design, advertising and shop environment. With Nicholas he has managed the tripling of the size of the company over the last five years ensuring that whilst Boodles moves forward, their standards of service become ever better. His interests include golf, shooting, wine collecting, vegetable gardening and Liverpool FC, as well as his 11 year old twins.
JODY WAINWRIGHT
The sixth generation to enter into the family business, Jody Wainwright joined Boodles in March 2002, and has been managing the Dublin store for almost three years. Having sucessfully established Boodles in Ireland, Jody will be returning to his roots early in 2009. Working from the Liverpool head office, amongst other things, Jody will manage the diamond buying for Boodles. With three young children to keep Jody busy, when not knee deep in diamonds, he has to restrict his other passion of windsurfing.
JAMES AMOS
After a spell in the City and having graduated with a masters in Strategic Marketing from Cranfield University, James joined Boodles in 2004. As well as being manager of the Harrods boutique he is involved in the company's marketing activity. In his spare time he likes playing golf, shooting and running as well as developing his DIY and gardening skills at home. His mother is sister to Nicholas and Michael.
